Conduct of Temporary Outdoor Activities

The purposes of this Ordinance are to (i) assure proper control of traffic and parking during the conduct of Temporary Outdoor Activities within the Township, (ii) prevent such activities from creating nuisance conditions; in pursuit of these purposes to establish rules and regulations for the conduct of Temporary Outdoor Activities.

Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance

This Ordinance is designed in accordance with Act 247, the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code, and the Township Comprehensive Plan of 1989, for the following purposes:

1. To assist in the orderly, efficient, and integrated development of land in accordance with the Comprehensive Plan;
2. To promote, protect and facilitate public health, safety and welfare of land in accordance with the Comprehensive Plan;
3. To promote, protect, and facilitate public health, safety and welfare of the community;
4. To assure sites suitable for building purpose and human habitation;
5. To facilitate efficient movement of people and goods;
6. To ensure coordination and conformance of subdivision and land development plans with improvements plans of the Township, whether they be traffic circulation, community services, etc.;
7. To provide a systematic and uniform procedure of reviewing plans to ensure equitable processing of all subdivision and land development and proposals; and
8. To promote relationships between land use and building design which facilitate the use of renewable energy resources and enhance the conservation of depletable energy resources

Nuisance Ordinance  

This Ordinance is designed to prohibit nuisances within the township and establishes procedures for the abatement of the same and provides penalties for the same

Stormwater Management Ordinance

This Ordinance is designed to regulate storm water runoff, erosion, and sedimentation to protect and preserve surface and ground waters to the Township and to protect the health, safety, and general welfare of Township residents.
